Merit contest and Random Drawing Rules
Unless otherwise noted the rules for both the Contest and the Random Drawing are the same.
1) No purchase is required to enter the contest.
2) Promoted and sponsored by Hardware Sales Inc. 2034 James St, Bellingham WA, 98225.
3) The contest and random drawing is open to all U.S. and Canadian citizens in British Columbia and Washington State who are over the age of 18 and are able to present a valid form of identification that would satisfy the identification requirements of the state of Washington and the province of British Columbia.
4) All email entries to contest@hardwaresales.net must be received by 4/30/2020 at 6:00 PM PT. Submissions sent before the end date and time, but received after 4/30/2020 at 6 PM PT will be rejected. Only emails submitted to contest@hardwaresales.net will be entered in the drawing and considered for the “Hardware Tales” contest. Hardware Sales Inc. bears no responsibility for any failure in internet service or any failure of physical and virtual devices that are required by anyone to submit an email entry to contest@harwdaresales.net within the contest and drawing time frame.
5) The winner of the random drawing, or sweepstakes, will receive a $50 USD gift card redeemable only at Hardware Sales Inc. This prized may not be exchanged for cash. The winner of our favorite Hardware Tales story contest will receive a $100 gift card redeemable at Hardware Sales Inc. This prize may not be exchanged for cash.
6) Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries submitted.
7) The contest and random drawing entries must be submitted by entrants physically located in
Washington State and the province of British Columbia. The contest and random drawing winners must be able to appear at Hardware Sales Inc. at the 2034 James St, Bellingham WA, 98225 location to collect their prize or prizes.
8) Hardware Sales Inc. reserves the right to end, suspend, and or modify the contest and random drawing if the rules of the contest and random drawing are abused in any way, including but not limited to; Hacking, physical equipment failure, virtual software failure, ISP failure, malware of any kind, email flood, spoofing, any form of email submission or submissions that could reasonably be determined to be abuse, or any attempt to tamper with the outcome of the contest electronically or physically.
9) The winners will be posted on the website anytime between the end of the contest and 5 PM 5/6/2020. Winners will be contacted by phone once the winners are posted online. Please include a phone contact number in your submission. If we are unable to make contact with the winning entrants by 12 PM on 5/8/2020 we will contact alternates, a newly selected random winner or a subjectively chosen runner up to the sinning merit based contest, by phone. The first person we reach by phone, or responds to our contact request prior to any phone contact initiated by us, will win the appropriate contest. This applies to both the random drawing and the merit based contest.
10) The winner of the merit based contest will be chosen Management of Hardware Sales Inc. and Hardware Sales Inc. employees associated with the contest. The winner of the random drawing sweepstakes will be chosen from a pile of all eligible entrants, this pile may be a physical pile or an electronically generated representation of all entrants with the winner selected by a digital, electronic, or virtual randomizer.
11) The winner does not need to be present for the drawing or the determining of the winner of the merit based contest.
12) Winners submissions may be used on our website, on social media, or for any other promotional purposes without compensation to the winner. Hardware Sales Inc. will not use your full name or email address in any promotional material without your permission, we do reserve the right to use your submitted story and first name.
13) You may mail hardware Sales Inc. 2034 James St, Bellingham WA, 98225 for a list of winners.
14) Prize winners are solely responsible for any taxes that occur due to their winning these prizes.
